Wifi2Go ("we", "us", "our") operates the wifi2go.net website and portable WiFi hotspot rental service. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
When you place an order, we collect the information you provide on the order form:
We also collect your IP address when you submit the contact form. We do not collect information from visitors who browse the site without placing an order or submitting a form.
All payments are processed through Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your full credit card number. Stripe handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the last four digits of your card for reference.
When you place an order, we record your IP address and run it through a geolocation service (ip-api.com or ipapi.co) to determine your approximate location and whether you are using a VPN or proxy. This is used solely for fraud prevention. The information is stored with your order record and is not shared with third parties.
We retain order records for the duration required by applicable tax and accounting regulations (typically 7 years). Contact form messages are retained for 2 years. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@wifi2go.net. We will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
| Service | Purpose | Data shared |

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to its processing, or request a portable copy. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@wifi2go.net.
Our service is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
By placing an order through wifi2go.net, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
Wifi2Go provides portable WiFi hotspot devices for short-term rental. Each device comes pre-configured with an eSIM data plan for your selected region or country. The device connects to local cellular networks and creates a private WiFi network that your personal devices can join.
The standard rental period is up to 14 days. Extended rentals of 15 to 21 days are available for an additional fee of $25.00. The maximum rental period is 21 days. Rentals exceeding 21 days are not supported through the standard ordering process. Contact us for longer arrangements.
The hotspot device remains the property of Wifi2Go at all times. While the device is in your possession, you are responsible for its care and safekeeping. You agree to:
A $50.00 refundable deposit is collected at checkout. The deposit is returned in full once the device is received back in working condition. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method. If the device is not returned within 30 days of the agreed return date, the deposit is forfeited.
Optional device protection is available for $6.99 per rental. With protection, accidental damage is covered so long as the device is returned. Lost or stolen devices are also covered, and no additional fees beyond the forfeited deposit will be charged. Without protection, you may be liable for repair or replacement costs up to $150.00 for damaged or unreturned devices.
Data plans are sold by GB allocation, not by time. Your purchased data does not expire based on a daily clock but is valid for the period specified in your plan (typically 30 days from activation). Once your data allocation is exhausted, the connection will stop until additional data is purchased or the device is returned.
Data speeds depend on local network conditions and carrier coverage. We do not guarantee specific speeds. In most locations, you can expect 4G LTE or 5G performance consistent with the local carrier's network.
Plans with a US IP address route your traffic through a US-based carrier so that websites and services see your connection as originating from the United States. This is provided as a connectivity feature and is not a substitute for a commercial VPN service. We do not guarantee compatibility with every streaming service, banking app, or corporate system, as these services set their own access policies.
We require a minimum of 3 business days between order placement and the date you need the device. Orders with less than 7 days lead time incur a $20.00 express shipping fee. Orders with less than 3 days lead time cannot be processed. See our Shipping & Returns page for rates and delivery timelines.
A prepaid return envelope is included with every order. You are responsible for mailing the device back by the agreed return date. Failure to return the device results in deposit forfeiture and potential replacement charges as described above.
You may cancel your order before payment is completed at no charge. Once payment is processed, cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis. If the device has not yet shipped, we will issue a full refund. If the device has shipped, you will need to return it upon receipt for a refund minus shipping costs.
Wifi2Go provides a connectivity device and data plan. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or inconvenience arising from service interruptions, network outages, carrier issues, customs delays, or situations beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability in any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
You agree not to use the device or service for any illegal activity, to distribute malware or spam, to engage in network abuse, or to resell the connectivity to third parties. We reserve the right to suspend service without notice if we become aware of misuse.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the courts of Ripley County, Missouri.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
